TAGd3 is a design studio focused in understanding the advancement and application of digital technologies in design and architecture which collaborates with other professionals in the construction industry, product and manufacturing industry, to create their design projects in different scales. Projects emerge in research between form, materiality, construction methodology, context, and sustainability. Formed in 2010, their work is influenced by the new digital instruments, modern aesthetics and the transfer of information from a digital / virtual world to a tangible one.
With combined academic studies at the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Louisiana State University School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona), and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, their professional work has brought to construction multiple projects in different scales for independent and corporate clients.
All its team members are members of the faculty at the School of Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, focusing on the use of digital tools for drawing, design processes and physical representation of design.
